Greetings

This laboratory specializes in wave heating and current drive of a spherical tokamak, which are keys for successful generation, sustainment and control of a high-performance plasma for nuclear fusion. Recently, we focus on studies of electron cyclotron heating and current drive using high-power millimeter waves from gyrotron tube (28 GHz, 1 MW) and klystron tube (8.56 GHz, 0.2 MW). We also develop front-line RF components and plasma / wave diagnostics and conduct wave simulations. Our interest includes all the phenomena related to wave-particle interactions. JOIN US!
