Award of The IUPAP Young Scientist Prize in Plasma Physics
The selection committee of the IUPAP Young Scientist Prize in Plasma Physics has chosen Dr Michael VAN ZEELAND as the recipient of the 2008 Award. Dr Van Zeeland is staff scientist at General Atomics, San Diego, California, USA. He will receive the prize during an Award Ceremony scheduled at 18h45 on September 8.
"The IUPAP Young Scientist Prize in Plasma Physics 2008" in the area of the Physics of High Temperature plasmas will be awarded on the occasion of ICPP2008.
